Had to make a mention of the comment on Dragon Warrior. It was by no means a great game, I agree, but did manage to show me that I was a fan of RPGs. I remember being pretty excited over it when I was still pretty young and had never really played a video game RPG. True, Final Fantasy soon made its way into my console and quickly eclipsed Dragon Warrior, but at the time I played it DW was pretty fun. Heck, when Square was on target in that era, no one else could make an RPG that could really compare.
